Dental Hygienists
Our dental hygienists are trained to provide many treatments such as fissure sealants and scaling and polishing teeth. They will also give important preventative advice such as oral hygiene instruction and dietry advice when recommended to by one of our dentists.
A dental therapistĀ is a registered dental professional who can carry out treatment after a patient has been referred by the dentist.
As well as carrying out all treatment provided by a dental hygienist, a therapist can also carry out:-
- Fillings on adult and children’s teeth
- Extractions of baby teeth
- Temporary crowns on baby teeth
- Planning the delivery of patient’s care
Fissure Sealants
